Q How often does my heating and a/c system need maintenance?
A. Your system should be maintained yearly.

Q. What does a clean and check on my equipment include?
A. We do a 15 point check on the system as well as clean the equipment and lubricate as necessary. This will help keep your equipment running safely and as efficient as possible.

Q. How often do I change batteries in my thermostat and how do I do this?
A. Batteries should be changed yearly. Take the cover off the thermostat and replace batteries (some thermostats require you to push a reset button on the inside of the thermostat after changing batteries)

Q. What do I do if my furnace or air conditioning won’t turn on?
A. Check all switches and circuit breakers make sure all doors on furnace are on properly and check for any obstructions at flue pipes outside. If all these check ok call for service.

Q. Should I cover my outdoor air conditioner in the winter?
A. Yes, but only cover the top of the unit with a piece of plywood, leaving the sides open.

Q. Do I need to worry about snow covering my pvc flue pipes?
A. The flue pipes should generally be above snow level, however in the case of an unusual amount of snow, the pipes should be checked periodically and cleared if necessary.

Q. How much can I expect to save with a new furnace or air conditioner?
A. Typically, you can save up to 40% on new equipment.
